Nice article Bob. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience as well as meeting all the Websters. I know you got tired of me bringing up and introducing more websters to you, but I could not resist. applaude You were a perfect gentleman to all of them.

I was overwhelmed by the job that laid ahead of Jerry Ford and his staff. I also took time to thank Betty(as per your instructions) for being the real "brains" behind the event.

You also deserve thanks for the efforts you make simply for the love of the game. You have helped thousands through the process and that is no small thing.

Thanks,
Eric

You said it well !!

May I add that this was our third trip to the event and this was the best one yet-- more great talent --more scouts and coaches in attendance

Where else can you go play in a tournament get eliminated and then play a "exhibition" game with scouts sitting behind home plate

In addition I got to meet a load of great hsbaseballweb folks.

May I add my humble thank you to the Ford's and their staff for a great weekend of baseball and comraderie

Great article. I was there too and agree with everything you said. It was an event like no other and the Fords and their colleagues are completely first class all the way. Terrific people that I will never forget.

Everyone with higher baseball aspirations and fans in the area should drop by this event in a future year.

Thanks again PG and the Fords for a very fun and great year!

I am sorry that I was unable to get a chance to meet anyone at Jupiter, though Bighit did come by to watch for awhile (rival high schools this year). Our team was put together to give some kids an opportunity to be seen by colleges and scouts, therefore after my son pitched he decided that he would give up his pitching opportunities to the "new kids". So we only spent one day there, and after spending more days in the previous years I realized that I missed the excitement of the full four days.
I just cannot believe how much the event has grown and have been impressed with how PG has handled it all.
I too would like to say that this was our third year at this tournament and it was by far the best one yet. Andy, Jerry, Betty and the rest of the staff did a great job again this year. Thank you so much for having us. I have a number of players got contacted by schools that they had not heard from previously and that makes it all worthwhile.

Again, to PG, Baseball America and all of their staff members, THANK YOU from the NC Red Sox Scout Team.
NC Scout Coach,
This is a "perfect" example of how it works for everyone. Your team played against our team, and I know there were lots of scouts that day out to see my son pitch, which in turn gets attention for others on both teams. Congrats to your team for a job well done!

We would like to thank Bob, Wes and everyone else for their kind words.

When good baseball people say nice things about our efforts, it's very exciting. However, it's the outstanding players, coaches and teams that really deserve most of the credit. The talent and of course the many scouts and colleges that attend our events and follow our reports are most responsible for any success PG has realized.

It's always great to know there are so many others who share our passion for the game. If everyone who is a baseball fan could create one new baseball fan over the next year... We double the number of baseball fans!

Thanks
I was in Jupiter and talked to one of the scouting directors. He said that clubs send 10 or more scouts and some office people. His club had 15 scouts there. That means more than 300 major league scouts. There were at least that many college coaches too. I noticed that Boras, Reynolds, Tanzer, and most all the big agents were there too. I've never seen anything quite like it. Some of these kids are very advanced with the wood bat. Seemed like most every team had a couple 90 mph guys. I was surprised by how smooth everything went. Only glitch I saw was a couple coaches losing control and going nuts. I cant imagine the work and organization it must take to run something like this. The scouting director told me the only showcase events he goes to all year are the Perfect Game events and Wilmington. I can understand why.
I too want to thank the entire PG Staff for an outstanding event. This was my 5th and without a doubt the best so far. I know for sure that they will out do themselves next year. That is the way they do things. First class! thumb

Also, I too want to congratulate Chris and his LA Allstars on a very exciting run throught the tourney. Good Job Buddy!
