Would someone educate me?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong because I can't open the normal reply box---my computer is being weird. I think if you click reply (the blue arrow) there is an icon (on the same row with the faces) that resembles a picture. I think that is the easiest way.

I think the only way is to have it w/a URL address..........In the past you could go to Frappier and post a picture there and then use the URL to add to this.........if you don't have access to a webservice, which I don't.

Not too good with computers so I could be way off on this.

I was wondering the same thing. Also, how do you post a picture for an avatar? I'm computer illiterate!

Download a picture from your computer....I used this one of my kid just cause it turned out kind of kewl.....

Anyway, after you load it on Photobucket, copy the code for Image...starts with the IMG code...
COPY

Then come here to the dialogue box and hit

PASTE

Voila.....picture!!
Some photo web sites hosts avatars, too
I'm pretty sure Image Shack does....

Last edit and I did it right this time...here's the link for Image Shack....they will do avatars...just choose the size from the drop down menu. The downside of these guys is you have to keep the link in an email sent to you to access your files. You can do a one time use without going through that but if you want to go back for the code, have to sign up...also free....
