This is a high school web site not a professional bullpen site. I am sure he already knows everything about parenting.
Then I can learn a few things from him on parenting as well. We had to put our family pet to sleep on Monday morning and I neglected to wake PantherSon up at 4:00am to say good-bye. I screw up every day ---- so, I'm willing to learn.
Just tell PantherSon your family pet went to live in the country on a farm.

My mom took one of our dogs to a farm when I was a kid...a real nice family...he had a lot of room to run around...plenty of other animals to play with...and some kids...you know...uhhh...you mean...OH NO!!!

So sorry to hear about your family pet, PD. That is tough no matter what the age of Panther Son, Panther Dad and family. My condolences to your family.

Sometimes the meat is tough with a lot a fat, so you have to grill it a little longer.
If it is grilled too long just chop it up and put a little Austindaise sauce on it.

I don't feel guilty of discussing any of the three topics you list here.....because....it's just a message board! If you see no benefit, then please point out the harm. It's a community that you choose to participate in --- for what purpose, I'm not quite sure.
I'd rather see you contribute out of the depth of your experience than hang out simply to make others feel stupid, intentionally or otherwise. Most people with any degree of sensitivity know when their views offend ---- and it seems obvious that being offensive is your goal. I'm ok with that -- I don't go overboard in trying to uncover identities here, but I do ok in recognizing motive. Your identity isn't hidden....and your motives seem relatively clear.
On the other side of the coin, I'm thankful for the multitude of personality here.

If I may...I would like to add my own 'context' here. BTW - Losing a pet is a horrible thing - sorry PD! I'm certainly not qualified to contribute to this forum since my oldest one is only in 7th grade and I never played ball past high school. But if you ask my 5th grader, he'll tell you he's qualified...he's ready for HS ball now. Really, just ask him! All the conjecturing that goes on within this forum makes me laugh though...most notably from those that like to thump their chests (i.e. KG) and throw stones.
In a nut shell....it's quite entertaining to view the various posts and see who's bashing who? (Collikar, is that grammatically corect, or should I have used whom?) I wish I was more qualified to contribute...I have so much in my little pea brain that wants to come out.
What did this thread start out as....oh, yeah..."it's slow around here". How can anyone say it's slow when we all seem to find time to visit and banter about a bit with the likes of train and KG? (Okay, well maybe not train any longer...) Can we all not just get along and sling a little 'bs' here and there without getting our panties in a wad? (ladies, please forgive me for that one - besides, men typically have that happen more than women...figuratively speaking anyway.)
Anxiously awaiting tomorrow's visit to see what's on HS Baseball Web! I love this stuff. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face each and every day - don't quit doing what you're doing!

I understand. Let's hope the struggles of this season will create a tougher team next year.
A random epiphany: What would HS Baseball Web be without all of the smiley-faces?
Think about it: We would never know what to believe, or when humor was being used. (That could be quite ugly for any of us, especially Train or KG)
Perhaps the decline of the English language...
