The past 2 weeks,I have been wearing it on my right wrist. My elbow and wrist have just been killing me lately.Between having 8 games the last 7 days, lifting, hitting practice and work, and arm can only take so much.It helps though
I don't like it on my throwing arm, but I like to use it on my catching wrist occasionally, it helps support your wrist catching 80 mph fast balls. fun job.
Ironically the Cubs announcers talked about it today. They asked Neifi Perez why and he said he did it one day as a kid and just kept on doing it. He says baseballs a game of repetition so he kept doing it.
this is really ironic because i have toyed back and forth over the season whether or not to catch with wrist tape on my catching hand. yesterday i actually bought the tape and i tested it out yesterday to see if it would be comfortable in the game. sure enough it felt fine and i think it will help me because catching someone who throws some gas,it will be a whole lot easier to hold those close strikes and keep soft hands when recieving the pitch, also it will protect the wrist from the constant balls that i block in the dirt or a fould tip here and there
Yesterday my wrist was hurtin me like it has before. I decided to tape up my wrist. Went 2 for 3 against an 18 year old team. I figure I might as well keep doin it now.
i started wearin it this year because i was catchin on varsity as a freshan. it really helped especially when two of your pitchers are touchin 90. but i really like it. it also helps when you are framin a close pitch because your wrist wont move. on the throwin hand i just tried t and i really liked the way it felt.
