Do the 18U and the 17U WWBA in East Cobb get comparable turnouts from college coaches?

Is there a rule of thumb as to which tournament is best---- purely in terms of exposure to the largest and broadest array of college coaches --- for a team that are mostly rising seniors (2013) at that point? (And this would be a team who is there for exposure, not a national team looking for winning a trophy!)

It would seem to me (but what do I know??) that the 18U / 2012 grads tournament might have more of the MLB scouts, and perhaps "top tier" D1s who have recently lost recruits to the draft and need to fill slots for their incoming roster. If that is the case, would a team of rising seniors be better served at the 17U?

Or, does the 18U get just as much representation of college coaches, from colleges at a range of levels?

Thanks for the insight.

My son has played in the 16, and 18...and will play 18 again next year. My recommendation is...if your players have not committed, then do the 17U event.
