The conversations on HSBBW seem to really stress the importance of the WWBA for exposure.
How about the BCS?
Is the PG BCS as effective as the WWBA in terms of college visibility? My son is a 2013, headed back for the BCS in July. They had been planning on WWBA, but schedule issues prevented that.
As a follow up to this question, since his team will have had two years at the BCS --along with several other good-visibility tourneys --- should he be sure to get to the WWBA next June (assuming all signs are pointing in the right direction for his potential at that time, of course.)
I think I understand the value of playing wood vs metal in terms of college scout perspective, so I imagine that is part of the dynamics of why WWBA gets seen as the "must do" tourney. I guess I am just trying to get a sense of the BCS is also a highly scouted and effective place to be in the summer prior to junior year
Thanks!
