Hi everyone!

Please take a few minutes this weekend to look at your old PM messages, and delete as many as possible.

If you want to keep them for future reference, just copy all the posts into a Word document that you save on your computer, then delete the PM thread from the forum.

As many of you know, our hosting bill has risen into the $800 per month range. The bill is based on not only our bandwidth (people visiting our site and forums, which of course is good), but also on the number of posts we have stored.

I am working on moving us to a less expensive provider, but still have a bit of work to do on that before it can be completed.

I will be deleting some of our older public threads that don't seem to be very helpful. But we also have lots of private threads (PMs) which generally are not being used. So please delete the old ones and help save us a few bucks. Smile

Thanks much!

Julie

And when you hit that delete key do you use a rotational stroke or is it more linear?

Right hand for the delete or left hand?
Is it ok to switch when typing the deletions?

I can delete my posts in 6.8 seconds. ( foot held stopwatch, not laser )
Whats the standard?
Where do I rank?
Do I have what it takes to be a legit switch typing pm post deleter? Huh huh do I???

I agree with you Krak,...it indeed was a walk down memory lane. Have unfortunately lost touch with some. Hope to find out where they are again!

Woody, the nERVE!!! Can't you see how ess-ee-ex is spelled out backwards in the swirls on those two out-of-the-box chocolates!!

Hmm, I wonder what ever happened to the Farrah Fawcett poster I got for Christmas in 8th grade......?

By the way, don't the French use trained pigs to sniff out truffles in the woods? Question: why are people hiding chocolates in the woods? Wink

I deleted all my old pm's yesterday but many of them were pm's that were originated by others - including several by MN-Mom Big Grin I hope those who sent them can delete them on their ends as well.

Please note, when you delete a pm started by another, you can no longer receive pm's on that particular pm thread. The other person can still send them but no one will receive them. Thus, sometimes when you are deleting pm's started by others, it can be a good idea to send them a pm letting them know you are closing out a thread. I had so many, I did not bother to do that this time however Smile
8-10 pages of pms reduced to 2.

Hey, it's a contest. Who can ... OK so some of you are a lot more popular or have been on the site more. Still, let's get at those pms.

Julie, I'll go to the Coaching, Hitting and Illinois Forums and go delete some old threads that didn't generate much interest.

Everyone do your part!
