Was looking over the online feedback we got in our local rec. league from last season...sometimes I wonder if feedback is a good thing or not...but lots of good stuff. And then there were these... Roll Eyes

* My child could not wait for the season to end. He is not alone. Frown

* ...stop allowing the board to change/bend the rules to tilt things to their sons' advantage. All players should be developed not just the powerbrokers' kids. Eek

* Interesting that is ALWAYS the coaches' kids who pitch....Conclusion: I guess to have your kids pitch, you need to be a coach! Razz

* I know several parents felt that home field advantage throughout the playoffs was unfair to the parents of the home team... noidea

* I would like the season to try to accomodate the CITYNAME Pet Parade schedule. greenjump

* I am opposed to the unhealthy after-game snack....What happened to the days of orange slices as an athletic snack??....we have enough of a problem in this country with obesity in our youth. Be bold. Be the league that stops the madness. walk

* ...I felt a bit overwhelmed with all of the games and practices. It would be nice if we dropped the practices as soon as the games start... Big Grin

* I think there should be practices during the season. Once the games started, there was no time for practice. Confused

* Don't stack the teams. It effects kids for life. Red Face

* We seem to suffer the brunt of overzealous coaches. The parents were reprimanded in one game for "having fun." pull_hair

* The league should just admit that the all star program is for the coaches' kids. kidding

* If at all possible, more games. Some parents may think I'm crazy for writing that. Wink

YES, my friend...some of them do. Big Grin

But my favorite...

* Eliminate the Dodgers from the choice of names...kids don't like being associated with the Dodgers. applaude

Justbb,

This one was my favorite.

Perhaps some dry toast and a stalk of celery would work.

LOL Big Grin
I read suggestions of more practices and more games - as well as the converse...

As a former coach, I was accused by one mom of not valuing balance in children's lives when I scheduled a practice in the same week as two games. I said it would be fine for Junior to skip one of the events if he had something else he needed to do - just let me know in advance... turned out the something else was sleeping in on Saturday morning...
