I'ts 20 degrees and sunny today. I work at UW-Madison and walked over to the student union for lunch and there's 10 picnic tables filled with students and staff eating lunch outside next to 8ft high piles of plowed snow. I think "what a bunch of nuts, it's WINTER" until I realize I'm not wearing a jacket.

Spring must be near!

Sunday it was nice and cold here in Northern Illinois with another one of those "storms of the century" on the way.

Tryouts were Monday.

My son was in the driveway hitting off the tee into a net and the boy across the street was playing catch in the street with his dad.

24 hours later we were shoveling 4" of heavy wet snow.
