First, the clip is a "best of." It wasn't how he performs over an entire game. Back when my son was ten I saw plenty of kids do the same thing Jr is doing on the video. The difference is Jr will grow to be at least 6'6" by the end of high school and grow up a basketball junkie. Michael Jordan had stud basketball playing sons who washed out in college ball.

As I see it if he commits at a young age it only benefits the college program in terms of PR and recruiting. If the kid is destined to be a stud he can make his deciin any time he wants.
