Every players situation is different but there is only one YOU. So don't make your decisions or choose a path based on other people.

Don't worry about what other people are doing focus on YOU.

Don't get caught up in the hype.

Don't get caught up in this idea that you have to do this or that to prove something to someone else.

Seek the fit for YOU.

Those that see YOU as the fit for them will seek you.

Find out where YOU fit in. They will let you know what they think of you.

Play the game because you love to play the game. Not because your attempting to get attention or earn something. Those things come if your good enough and love to play the game.

Never blow off a coach or program because you think they are beneath you. He may end up your coach one day. He may be your only option one day. It's just the right thing to do.

Be so focused on being the best player you are that one day you find yourself actually being recruited to play. Instead of being so focused on being recruited you fail to become the best player you can be.

What if your daughter is a 5’10” softball player? 😁

Then you should be posting on hssoftballweb.com

Size wise it’s all relative. But the baseball model followed the softball model. A great book on softball recruiting from the 90’s would be very applicable to baseball today.

Besides, I was just joking. It’s nice to have kids on the tall side in sports. My son is 6’2”.
