Hope someone here can help me with what I am trying to do. I would like to set up a You Tube Channel for my baseball program so I can upload video for the kids to watch as well as use for recruiting purposes. With that said, I want to make the Channel Private so that other HS coaches can not go on and use it for scouting purposes. Is there a way, without giving a college coach a password, to send a link to a college coach and have him access it?

I believe that making it private will only hide it from the public searching for it. As long as you have a link to send to someone, they can still view it by accessing that link. No password is needed.
Will you be posting highlights, or just full at-bats?
Will you be filming from behind the plate or CF or from the side?
James: Already tried that and sent the link to a 3rd party to test it and it didn't work. Came up as private.
Bolts: All of the above
IEBSBL,
When you upload video's you have to select, 1)Unlisted 2)Private 3)Public.
Make sure they are 1) and then send the link and anyone with that link can view the video. You can also do the same thing in Google Docs...now Google Drive.
If it's unlisted couldn't someone still find it? For example if I had game footage of Joe Jonson and it was unlisted, couldn't someone still track it down?

Unlisted videos should not be found by any search engine. However, anyone who obtains the Video URL can watch the video. If you require more privacy than that, choose the "Private" setting. When you choose Private, you will have to add email addresses for everyone that should have access. I believe you can create a group of email addresses so that you don't have to add each one for every video.
