Train, my intent was lost in translation. I understand what you are saying and side with you. You will never stop folks from saying stupid things. As difficult as it is I would think that the only thing you can do is to try and stay above the fray. You have a ton to be proud of. Don't let the idiots ruin it for you.....me included.

No kidd’n, what a tough District! No one better take a night off cause you will get beat! I think that every team from top to bottom can beat each other on any given day! I've seen Drew Feuerbacher beat HP then turned around and beat Heath! Tough kid right there! HP goes 1-4 then beats Heath in 11 innings. Heath beats Rockwall then Rockwall goes on a tear. JJP loses to Heath 2-1 on a game that saw two great pitchers Thompson and Trevor Renfro. Brewer Money can pitch against anyone (Brewer the hammer Money). Wylie East has the Big Lefty McCain. McKinney and McKinney North have very solid programs as well. I'm sure I've missed some kids (not disrespecting anyone, just don’t know all the names), but man oh man the baseball talent in 10-4A is incredible! Everyone in this District is TOUGH! Good luck to all - hold on tight, I'm sure it will be an exciting finish.
OldDude, I didn't know you missed me so much. Yeah why did y'all ask the UIL to move Poteet out of your district? Smile

Yes I did see Heath play the other night with Jake on the mound. And Jake made some really good hitters not look so good. I didn't see him say a word, he went about his business like he should, I think he struck out 15 that night. But in a game like that emotions run high. Most of the bs comes from the students in the stands or the players on the bench that never play. I think Jake is outstanding young man and baseball player and will do very well at the next level. And if you don't have a bit of an attitude on the mound you aren't going to make it very far.
Just my .02.

I noticed Rock Dad's son is kicking some b u t t down in San Marcos.

One significant difference being that legal adults go off to play college and/or professional baseball, not minors. Even the media treats high school athletes differently than college and professional athletes. High school QBs are not dragged over the coals when they mismanage a game clock, high school point guards aren't openly bashed when they dribble out the clock mistakenly, high school baseball players aren't slammed when they don't run out ground balls. If my son gets ripped by a website yo-yo or sports writer at either the university or pro level, when he is a grown man and where someone is either paying his tuition or paying him a salary, that is fine by me. However, in the interim, nameless negative postings about minors are inherently wrong. If you fail to see a difference in that then we will just agree to disagree.

Nice one run game at HP...Wylie played good but just came up a little short in the end after hitting the ball well all game.

HP starter Matt Wilson threw 125 pitches, clearly Coach Oliver at HP has little confidence in his bullpen.

It did get exciting at HP last night. Had no idea Wilson had that many pitches. Did a great job keeping Wylie from crossing the plate.

HP has done a great job of climbing back into this race. What a distict! Gonna be a battle these last 4 games.

It's called a pitchers duel knuckledragger! Renfro threw a great game, and the Lions defense was sharp after an early miscue. Borefest, hardly.

bless your heart ballmom, you're a trip. what can I say? misconstrued again. it was a borefest before the game even started. a game few cared about. (a battle for the basement.) nail biter once it started. that help?

Before Crudes post gets deleted. That's kind of funny!
