You are correct about Kory. He had verbally committed early but has not signed an NLI to attend Maryland. Rumor has him going to a junior college.

Brent Jones, earlier in this thread had committed to La Salle. Here's a quote from a local paper last week: "In addition to considering Towson University, Jones is also looking at a pair of junior colleges in Florida to extend his playing career."

Anyone know what happened? Kids a heck of a player.

My understanding is they weren't crazy about lasalle when they went up. They looked at Salisbury and Towson and after long deliberation accepted a spot at Towson.

I have not seen Brent listed as on of Towson's incoming recruits. Is he walking on there?

Also since we are asking "what happened"? What happened to Michael Marsh from Chesapeake? He was suppsoed to attend UMBC but has dropped out of sight. I hope he is OK? He is a great kid and baseballplayer!

I know that Brent has wanted to attend Maryland. Maybe with his outstanding play, he has convinced Bakich that he is a player that he should want. He has played for Bernie Walter with the Monarchs so maybe he also had input to getting him on Marylands recruiting radar.

Brent is a player and a great hitter who is dedicated to making himself better he just doesn't have the ideal body for his desired defensive position. But if he hits he will make them find a spot for him! Plus he still has some time to grow. His makeup is off the charts so good luck to him at UMD!
