Just another note...the young man at 1B for GHS made a great play on a bunt for the second out of the 7th inning when he threw out the lead runner at third (Harris). Also, GHS managed to tie the game in the 6th on, I believe, an error on a hard hit fly ball which allowed Grapevine runner to reach second and then score on a base hit. Books didnt show it as an error as they have Barrentine down for two earned runs when I think it should have only been one...and the scoreboard showed the error too. It was a great game between two well deserving teams.

I met the Coppell team and coaching staff at the Whataburger next to the Grapevine Mills Mall. I overheard there conversations and let me say that these guys were top shelf guys. No bad language, no disrespecting any other teams, players, fans etc.
I don’t know them and they don’t know me, although after that day they gained my respect as a player, dad and as a fan!
In this short amount of time they met my 11 year old son and even had him play a trick on the head coach. Nothing but Kudos’ to these guys. Don't know much about "press clipping", although I know that I’m not afraid to post my comments with my name attached. Hope you all have a good day. Coppell will be fine; these coaches do a great job.

in the top of the 6th, Rowlett gets a two run triple to go ahead 4-3....then in the bottom of the 6th, College Park has two outs, and gets a break with a catcher's interference on a strikeout with two runners on to extend the inning. They take advantage and score 3 to take the lead at 6-4. Rowlett doesn't score in the 7th and goes down 1-0 in the series.
