It's a three team race for third and fourth and I think Allen might take third based on who their playing their final three games and Wylie should take fourth even though they have stiff opponents their next two games this week, they have won six in a row and have been tough to compete with over the past 3 weeks.

Question though: If Wylie and BHS and Allen finish with the same records, which two would win playoff spots?
I want to thank those who have so graciously blasted Richardson on these posts. From the early season "9 kids from the park could beat RHS" to the most recent Big Red post. Many of our players read these posts regularly, and enjoy most of the posts. They know how their season is going, but to continue hearing about it only makes things worse.

We hear it from Plano reporters, fans and even the posters on this forum. My wife and I actually heard two parents at a recent game (in a city to the north of Richardson) say "they suck at everything", IN FRONT OF OUR PLAYERS...funny thing is the one who said it was a MOM.

I am not asking for any pity, as we are part of this becasue we want to be. If winning were the key to our participation with HS athletics, we would simply move or go private. What I am looking for and expecting (which I don't think is out of line) is a bit more class as it relates to the "bottom feeder" programs, as we are so affectionately referred to. Remember, the kids are the ones effected by the positive and negative we all have to offer.
rfc3,

I get where you are coming from, but I believe RHS gets a little more respect than what you might think. Yes, there are a few numbskulls on this board that try to be funny without regard to the schools in their posts. But, I don't think Plano East was thinking "bottom feeder" when you were ahead 1-0 going into the 6th. Or were we when it took all we had in Sherman to win 4-0. I have several friends in the 9-5A district, and without question their sentiment is, ya we should win, but it is not a cake walk like in years past. I, for what it is worth, believe RHS to be competetive to say the least. AND, this is coming from a Pearce grad 1982. Big Grin

Appreciate the comments...we have gotten better and will continue to do so. We do bring much of our demise upon ourselves, and for that we are our own worst enemy.

I am simply a big proponent of using forums like this one to highlight, spotlight and question the greatness of the game. Off-handed comments and jokes are going to be part of it, I get that and try to be open to jock-u-larity. After all, if you can't laugh at yourselves sometimes, what is it all worth?
rfc3,

Although you mentioned a mom in your comment, you know you get a lot of "kids" on here posting with a lot of those comments. It all has a funny way of working itself out (re: PESH/Richardson game and the late rally needed, etc.). My thoughts are with you though come next year as you get to deal with the Dallas folks from now on...and you thought the kids North of you had a bad attitude! Big Grin

I'm sorry if you were offended by my posts. I wasn't trying to make fun of Richardson in any way. My comment was more aimed at how ridiculous and redundant predictions are, especially for 9-5A. I just put the standings in backwards, and, in retrospect, I completely see where your coming from. I'll delete the post right now.
I heard the PESH vs. Wylie game was a good one.

Wylie 7
PESH 5

WP--Feckley
LP--Emens

Wylie HR--Feckley(1) Atwell(1) Vennett(1) Jordan(1)
PESH HR--Emens(1)

Feckley HR to take the lead
Atwell HR adds to the lead
Emens HR ties game
Vennett and Jordan HR back-to-back to take lead
Snider drives in 2 to tie it up
Wylie scores 2 to win
