I would like to say congratulations to all of the prep stars in the area that were drafted recently. Savor the moment because it does not happen to all aspiring players.
Yes, I know it seemed like a weaker year for high school players in general but I expect many of these players to come out of college and become much higher picks. I don't expect this, I know this.
In a premature look into the 2009 draft, it seems there will be many more high school prospects from this area taken than this previous draft. I know for a fact that I can name at least 10 prospects who are very high up on everyones list in the scouting community. This summer and the following school season will truly be very fun to watch.
