Trey Johnson just doubled off the fence in the 7th with the bases loaded to put the Tigers ahead 9-8. The Tigers were down 8-2 when the inning began.
Going to the bottom of the 7th right now. Tigers 9 Redskins 8
What a shame. The Tigers ended up losing 10-9 in the bottom of the 7th. It sure brought back a lot of memories for me to see the Tigers mount one last charge. Congratulations to the Tigers as well as DBAT for representing the Metroplex with an excellent showing.
Oh my GOD, we almost had it! According to the radio annoucer it was the greatest comeback in Connie Mack World Series HISTORY!
What a tough loss. We lost 10-9

Linty and JAFO what a great game. We have been through a lot of battles over the last 6 years and the character of your team tonight really reminded me why it was always fun to face you guys on the field. Hope we can continue the fun in the future.
Watching the game on webcam was awesome. What a nail biter! Congrats Tigers, your team showed alot of heart and courage, and earned even more respect, if that's possible.
Midland Redskins win Connie Mack World Series by beating East Cobb Yankees 15-4

SWAC,
It's incredibly tough to see it end without one of us bringing home the "Crowning Jewel", however the past years have been some of the best ever between the 2 clubs. It is amazing these players can battle the way they have over the past years and still have the respect and freindship that they have for each other. It's sad to see it end. I wish both the Tigers and DBat the best over the upcoming years. There will probably not be another rivalry that compares to these two groups for a loonnnng time.
On a final note the Midland game was probably one of the most incredible games I have seen or been a part of since my short time with the Tigers. What a fitting way to end a storied team run. Scrapping and fighting with every last ounce of grit that they had. My hat is off to this incredible team. It has been an extreme pleasure to be associated with these fine young men and the knowledge that Mr. Ingram has instilled in me as well as these players. I wish them all well in the future endeavors.
I would like to close by thanking Mr. Ingram for the freindship, the integrity, the knowledge and the pure determination and time spent on me, my son and the entire 2007 Dallas Tigers Team. There is not a better man (in my opinion) in Texas youth baseball than Linty. Again thanks to all for the incredible ride.
JAFO out!
