Accuracy of zepp vs other sensors?

What makes you think the attack angle readings are not 'accurate'?  I suspect most people have negative attack angles.  That's one of the main reasons why 90%+ of youth players never start on HS varsity.

in the marking launch angle in a cage thread there was a guy showing his swing and he said zepp always says he is at negative 20-30. in the video the swing looked about level. maybe it was minus two (more likely like plus two) but definitely not minus 20.

I just made a comment in that thread. I think the Zepp is right.

I saw the same thing as sultanofswat.  Zepp does seem right.  It feels like you are swinging somewhat up because you are focusing on your hands and follow thru.  Its measuring the bat path.  The good news is, you probably have more power ( distance ) to come.

For us dom it's always been time to contact. Seems to vary wildly with no rhyme or reason. I think barrel speed seems pretty accurate. Attack angle for us works fine. But my son has a tendency to wag that bat a little before starting swing and I think that is exactly what makes time to contact inaccurate. On the plus side seeing that on zepp has quieted his hands some so overall zepp has been a success. Plus don't forget modeling your swing vs the pros. That really helped him shorten his swing. His swing path has become pretty darn close to the pro model. So even if you struggle to get a consistent read on one of the metrics I still think it can be very helpful 

I have the 1st gen Zepp and the readings for time to contact and 3D swing path for my son screws up about 25% of the time. I am sure his bat tipping pre-swing has a lot to do with it.

Do you find that contraption useful? Not sure why you actually posted that picture.
