Does anybody know what schools still looking for seniors typically attend the All Academic Game during the Fall Classic?

Nearly every coach at the Arizona Fall Classic are at that game. It is the only time during the event when nothing else is going on. I have to say it is the single best event for a high academic player in terms of exposure and cost combined.
my son got selected to tryout he is a pitcher anyone know how many pitchers they take for the game they have like 70 slated to tryout.
he just pitched in the pg upperclass pitched 3 really strong innings against a top top team from texas/Arizona prospects national but his velocity was only 80 but did not give up a run.
My son, catcher from SoCal, was invited to tryout for AZ academic game. He's definitely going - but the 2 scout teams he plays on aren't playing in senior classic. Any opinions on if it's worth it to try to sign on with a team in the classic and play through the weekend? Thanks for input in advance.
IMO the academic game is the single best event you can go to as a high academic player as far as return on investment. The caveat is that you need to make the team, although the exposure at the tryouts is good and you get on the list for coaches even if you don't make the team.
Approx 1/2 the kids make the team and I believe there are about 12 pitchers taken. Each throws to 4 batters starting with a 1-1 count. 80MPH for a RHP will be marginal to make the team.
As far as playing on another team it is getting late in the process and I would guess most slots are filled. I would make a decision based on the cost and if you can let the teams following your son know his schedule in advance. Just showing up and playing is dicey for any event IMO.
Good luck.
