My apologies if there's a thread on here already.  I've searched and can't find one.

Anyone have experience with another physician at Andrews Sports Medicine who you would recommend for elbow and shoulder throwing injuries?  We want to see Dr. Andrews, but will take an alternative given the tight schedule.

Thank you!

Dr. Lyle Cain did my son's TJ at Andrews last August, and I would highly recommend him.  He's reportedly done the procedure over 1000 times.

He was highly recommended to us by an ex-MLB pitcher who had TJ with Cain (Damian Moss).  We also spoke to the dads of current and former teammates who had also had TJ with Cain and they raved about him as well.

His CV is on the Andrews Center web site.  And he's not the top name on the list below Andrews' by accident.

Just an update...we went to both Birmingham and to Pensacola.  There are substantive differences between the locations in our experience which I'm happy to share via PM if someone is considering either location.   Just one man's opinion of course.

It's too early to say regarding outcome for my son, but I would definitely recommend the Andrews Institute in Pensacola based upon our experience so far.

My son did stem cell because MRI(3)never showed tear. It didn't work. After pain  returned 4th MRI was done and labrum tear showed up. Two yrs of pain, rest, physical therapy, etc and finally we had answer.

Son had surgery w Dr Kremchek in Cin-whole experience there was first rate-highly recommend him/facility. Son been rehabbing, will be throwing again in fall, so far no problems.

Dr. Andrews himself will tell you the most important part of the whole process is in the rehab. I heard him speak at a conference once again last week and he preaches that. Not the surgeon, but the rehab specialist. Obviously. The surgery is still important, but too many think the surgery fixes the problem with nothing else being needed...
