Thanks for the kind words Ken! I am home, getting some rest as needed. I'm sure all of the players, coaches and parents from both our teams needed some time to relax as well

All week our guys battled their butts off and I heard from numerous college coaches that you guys were the best team in AZ, and in their opinions the next best team was far behind you guys (talent wise). I agree that you guys were very talented, but I feel like our guys battled. If you would have put us away by winning big in Game 1 or Game 2 then it would have been easier to say that you were better, but when you're 3 outs away from winning.....that's tough! The 15 innings we played on Sunday would have been enjoyable for someone with no ties to either team. For those connected to one team or the other, it was gut retching.

I agree with you, it was great to have 2 talented team compete all day long with the winner going to the World Series and having nothing but hard nosed baseball. Both teams played hard and respected the game which is awesome.

Off the field it was great getting to spend some time talking as well. We agree on many topics and I know that we are both in this for the right reasons. Your team is very deserving of participating in the Connie Mack World Series and you guys will represent the AABC organization well.

Good Luck in Farmington!

Since you're reading and posting here, thanks for all the time and hard work you put into this tournament Ron! It was a great experience for our guys and a week that our players will never forget. Coin tosses are overrated! Ken went 0-10 and I went 8-0 (our assistant coach went 0-3) so that shows you how much winning the toss means!

Thanks again Ron. The Trombly Braves will be back in 2011 to participate if you are running this again.
