The Baltimore Waves will be holding their 5th Annual Fall 2009 TRYOUTS for our upcoming 2010 Season on Sunday December 6th, 2009. The tryout will be held at the Mid-Atlantic Sports Academy in Millersville, MD beginning at 12:00 PM.
The Waves encourage all players Graduating Classes 2010, 2011, & 2012 to attend. Our Summer Baseball Program begins in May 2010 after the High School Baseball Season ends. The Waves are planning to compete in the following:
• Perfect Game - World Wood Bat at the East Cobb Complex near Atlanta, Ga.
• College Showcase tournaments in the Mid Atlantic & South Eastern Regions.
During the tryout, players will go through a Pro-style workout, and receive plenty of time to showcase their abilities to Waves Staff. Players will take batting practice, go through defensive workouts including POP times for all positions, 40 yd dash times and pitchers will throw in the bullpens and on mounds.
Everyone in attendance will be evaluated by Waves Staff and Local College Coaches in attendance. The fee for attending is only $20.00 dollars.
