I was the starting pitcher in my school's game on Thursday. It was about 29 degrees and a mild gust of flurries was consistently spraying around the field for most of the game. At one point, the opponent called timeout and had black tape put on the catcher's fingernails because the pitcher couldn't see the signs through the snow. It definitely wasn't easy.

Report from Colorado Springs.

Y'day's game was played in 24F plus 15 MPH wind. Can't even speculate the windchill.

cadKID#1 bonked twice and intentionally walked once.

Today's game cancelled for what hey referred to as Permafrost Conditions... field frozen down to 8 inches deep.

I see on the Internet that Annapolis games postponed for same conditions.

Al Gore... where are you when we need you? Oh, and my internet connection is a little slow... Al, can you help with that too?

BEAT ARMY!!!

ah, nothing like getting drilled in cold weather.

we had 3 games scheduled this week. game 1 was about 55-60, no real need for the long sleeves. game 2 was beautiful, 75 and sunny all game. game 3 (the day after game 2)got cancelled because of about a foot of snow. oh well good while it lasted.

Last night was the first game son has ever been in with a team where it was suspended for SNOW.

He loved it though, has never seen snow "fall" from the sky. I heard some of our warm weather guys got a kick out of it.

Today's conditions were low 30's with windchill (20mph winds) feeling like 18-19.

He actually did pretty well, without mittens or gloves.
