Alex,

I too am in the Milwaukee area as is Halfmoonslider and a couple of others.

Who do you play for now?

What are you asking? High Schools that have good baseball programs? Good Baseball colleges around here? Or Schools to teach you baseball skills? (pitching, hitting, fielding or??)

Let me know a sure I can point you in the right direction

Alex, I'm the old fat guy that talked to you guys on Monday night.

It's good that you are here and starting to look around, it means that at least one person heard what I had to say. Feel free to give me a call to talk about this. Coach Marx has my number, otherwise my Email is listed under my profile.

Wisconsin has one good mid level DI baseball school, UWM. One very good DII baseball school, UW Parkside.

However we are rich in very very good DIII schools. That is because many of the DI caliber players we have in WI goto local DIII instead of going away to a DI school. These include UW Whitewater UW Oshkosh, Carthage, Ripon, UW Stevens Point, UW LaCrosse.

Of course in neighboring states there are many good schools too.

Here is a link to college baseball rankings and you can look for schools there too.

College Rankings

Read the articles on this site, become familiar with the recruiting time line that I handed out. There is a ton of information on this site, become familiar with it.

Best of luck this season. Remember what I said about GRADES! Without good grades, your options are limited.

Big...that's great that you are getting to your guys early and educating them and their parents. It seems your NB youth program is going strong. I see a slow decline in the Firebirds since Tim T left the organization. There is something to be said for a benevolent dictator over a "Board"!

How can we get our "West" teams to schedule each other at least once a year?

Young Eisenhower23...listen to the "old" fat guy....he never lies and he is "the man".
Eisenhower23 just some more advice - Halfmoon is also another great source of information on baseball in your area.He also will be available for any questions/problems that you have.Coaches like BigWi and Halfmoon are guys that love talking/helping baseball and we are very fortunate to have these men to turn to for advice.Keep working hard on your game so we can see your name as one of the top players in Wisconsin.
David Cales a senior at Mt Carmel, IL signed to play at Missouri next year. What an exciting SS to watch and I would imagine might get some innings as a closer for them as well. He played for the Wisconsin Blazers last fall immediately putting my soph son on the bench Smile
I told mine to watch carefully how this kid plays the game! My lasting impression of him was his getting in some kids face (after the game) from Pleasure Ridge Ky (without mayhem!) for a very late slide into 2nd. Basically said, "you get one...you won't get another"! Old time baseball...this is a kid I'd pay money to see.
