Howdy all. Maybe a dumb question, but are bat grips put on a certain way? Are they put on for a right handed swing? The reason I ask, is that my son swings lefty, and the last three bats he has used, the grip will not stay on. Should it be re-gripped in the opposite direction? Is this possible? Anyone else experienced this? He is a 2018 and has used BBCOR the past three bats. Frustrating. Thanks for any legitimate responses.

My son regrips his bats a couple of times a season normally. He hits lefty. Never heard of a lefty grip but who knows their might be. Now he uses wood so its not an issue.
All bats are gripped to be right handed. You can take it off and rap the other direction.
I do believe most bats are wrapped in a certain direction. Next time he puts on new grip have him wrap it in the opposite direction.
