When my son was 8 I had a secret crush on his coach. 6 years later we are good friends to this day.
Now my son is 14 and I have him on a great team with a great coach that is a former MLB pitcher who is 6'5" and a BABE! Last year, when we joined the team, I told the coach that I put my son on his team because he was so good looking and he told me "The one thing about chasing baseball players is that we are easy to catch".

My son first started with a pitching coach (early 30's, former AAA withthe WS) while he was still in LL. The Saturday before Christmas, a day when Moms are exceedingly busy, we had a workout at the field. In an hour's time, I had no less than five LL Moms stop to 'chat' with me. Trust me, I'm not that popular.
One asked where I had found the coach. I replied, "Chippendale's" and she said "I believe you!"
Alas, since then, his coaches have looked more like blind dates......
