I, have now had my own bad experience with them. I have had several friends complain that TPX is very difficult to get a replacement bat from. I sent my bat in the other week, hoping to get a new one seeing as its dead, but all I got was the same one back. Inside, there was a letter that says, your receipt was invalid blah blah blah, because it was a paypal receipt. I bought it from an authorized sports dealer, and of course, why would he need to print one off the cash register, and put it in the box, if it's all computerized. So, he sent me the payapl receipt, names, phone numbers, addresses, date and time, price, all that good stuff, and when I sent my bat in they said, oh, we can't accept it because it could be a fraud. I then said to the guy, it's not on your website, so you should have accepted it. He then goes and checks, comes back and says, well, it's not specifically stated, but it sort of says that you have to have an original cash register type receipt from an actual store. Well, long story short, I chewed the guy out for not having a good policy, at least Easton says on their website, and you can look if you want to, something to the effect of "paypal and ebay transaction/receipts are invalid for warranty service due to fraudulent claims" I think that this might have ticked me off enough to not buy TPX bats anymore. Several of my friends have also spent 15bucks on wasted postage like I did, just to find the same bat in the box, but some of their letters said things like "your bat appeared to be cracked from negligence and abuse, when I saw it crack with my own two eyes at batting practice, and also, there was one with some wicked dents, and they said, it still measured 2 5/8 inches or whatever, even though it was quite deformed. Do you guys ever have trouble with these companies and their so called warranties? I apologize for the long winded parapraph, but that just ticks me off that they would do something like that.

P.S. I posted this where hopefully many people will see this and not waste money on postage and/or getting their hopes up when they will most likely get the same bat back in the mail, 2 weeks later.

Yes now days all bat companies require a receipt from a cash register.Being an authorized dealer that I am it now makes it hard to go out to tournaments and sell bats with a hand written receipt since they do not honor them anymore.I sell alot of bats on Ebay and always run the transactions through my store so they get a receipt. The deal with a dented bat not being replaced is bunk on their part.I would definitly fight that and always ask for your local Sales rep name if the service rep. acts like he/she can do nothing about it, and he could be able to get you some resolution to the problems.By the way, sending a bat back because it's "dead" will NEVER work, as they say their bats do not loose "pop" because they are not pressurized.Bats have an 8 month life expectancy hence the 1 year to 400 day warranty they give.
Yes, that is why I will be using either Easton, Wilson, etc. bats from now on. My friend, although it was only a 50 buck bat, sent it back to easton because it was dead, not sure if it really even was, and they sent him a new one, no questions asked. Another guy had a paypal receipt like you, and sent his wilson back, they gave him a brand new vexxum. I know easton wont, but at least it is stated on their site, unlike tpx's site. Stingy baseball companies.
