Kids should cheer their players on. Attempting to distract the opposing pitcher is something that most teams discourage their players from doing. The bench banging and bantor is nothing more than an attempt to distract the opposing pitcher.

Feel free to call me an idiot anytime. I saw the jumping and kicking with my own eyes. I am also not one of those parents from Kellam or FC that were yelling because of a call.
But, first and foremost, my Cox graduate, please take a moment to check your spelling and grammar. It is sometimes hard to understand what you mean because of the poor English.
As far as beating Cox, it is obvious, you have not been following Cox very closely since you graduated. Look at the records for most of the mid 2000's and you will see that FC's record against Cox speaks for itself.
It is very shocking to me that Coach Conroy would tolerate the dugout behavior, perhaps he was paying to much attention to the game. My hope is that there will be a behavior change before the next game.
Thanks for your input Datababy, always great to see different opinions and have an open mind.
My glass is still half full.

Good going 1943....FC can beat COX 3 TIMES...we have a whole team not just BOWMAN. We are not scared and can ignore their immature CHANTING like they do every year. Its called play ball!!!
no way- You must have VERY selective hearing. I was standing along the LF fence with a very respected "baseball guy" whose son played at FC several years ago and he was appalled at the chanting coming from the FC dugout (while the Cox pitcher was pitching) during the 1st Cox-FC game this year. In fact, he remarked that they sounded like a girls' softball team.
For the record, I don't like the attempts to distract the opposing pitcher anymore than most here, but those that think that type of nonsense is limited to the Cox team really aren't paying attention.
