PG's Ben Ford made headlines that I know he would have just as soon avoided yesterday. Ben gave up Barry Bond's 661st homerun.

I know that this is not the type of notariety that Ben would have wanted but ....... I and thousands of other ex-ballplayers (and non ex-ballplayers) would gladly have traded places with him.
Fact of the matter is that Ben pitched well yesterday. 2.0 innings, 1 hit, 1 earned run, no walks, 7 batter faced.
You've got to be pretty good just to be in the position that young Mr. Ford was in last night!
