A bat is such a personal item you will probably get as many answers as there are bats. My son swears by EXO's. His best friend swears by Stealths. They do not like each other's bats. They are both good hitters.quote:Originally posted by Driller Man:

What RJM said is true. Most of the high end bats are are equally effective. It really comes down to feel. Each bat has a different feel, even different models within the same brand. If a bat feels good to a player, the player will feel good at the plate. Also, go to the store and have the player get the bat in his hands before buying, even if purchasing online. Let the player pick, don't pick for him, he is the one that has to like it and use it. Good luck.
Let the kid decide which one they feel comfortable with the spend then 400.00 $ and get it . My kid seems to like Easton , so it's pretty much what they like to swing .
Never spend $400 for a bat. Shop online and find a discount. It's also not a bad idea to buy last years model heavily discounted.
