Just reading on Golden threads that catchersdad and jmepop's son crossed paths at a PG event. My son has crossed paths with both players, and this in turn creates a bond between us. The bond was created by baseball.
It's amazing how often my son's baseball journey has crossed paths with others.
One path crossed was with Fungo, his son played with one of my son's coaches son, and eventually my son did face him in college. Justbaseball's son and mine pitched in the same PG National and his son played USA baseball with one of son's former teammates. Same with FormerObserver. Dad04's son played on an elite travel team that faced son on the mound, and Bighit's son and mine pitched against each other in HS. Another parent's son and mine played in HS together, now on the same professional team. Quite a few websters have been kind enough to actually watch son play and CALL with results. Wink Kevin11, had many times offered to take son out to dinner after a game or bring him goodies (not really sure if allowed by NCAA rules). My son spoke to some websters players during visits to Clemson camps. My list is long.

Through my son's travel experience, HS experience, cape sumemr ball, college experience and pro experience I have watched many websters son's play in person, and met the webster's themselves. Catchersdad, Prepster, Coach May, SDBB, Jerseydad, just a few of the people who live in different areas of the country that I would have never met without the game of baseball.

Baseball sure has made the world a bit smaller for me, how about for you?
