Son just got back from the Doctors and I was wondering if someone can be too tall for MI?

We have dealt woth it in the past and I was wondering if coaches still believe that SS's should be short?

Full disclosure:
I have asked this question on other sites today and my son is tall.
Hustle never has a bad day.

I think your question is a valid one as we all know that there is a height bias in higher baseball.......

I guess the question would be how tall is too tall....

Ripken 6'4"
Jeter 6'3"
A-Rod 6'3"

have shown the bigger man can play shortstop.........but know that most MLB MI are around 6 footish .......(source Baseball reference 5'11-6-2)

If your player if 6'5" and above, I can see where you would wonder.....

I personally do not know of any shortstop or 2b (college or pro baseball) at 6'5 or higher
