I didn't look these up but recalled from memory past. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Q. Is a catchers interference an E2?
A. Yes
Q. What about a passed ball?
A. No
Q. Also, if runners steal on a pitch and its a wild pitch, and no throw is made to the bases, do runners get credited with stolen base?
B. YES or NO. If the runners were attempting the steal prior to the pitch being thrown then YES, they get the credit for the steal. If they "advanced" to the next base BECAUSE of the wild pitch, the answer is NO.
Q. On a double steal, do both runners get a SB? Which one gets it? And what does the other runner get?
A. BOTH get credit for a stolen base. However if one of the advancing runners are caught stealing the other runner does not get credit for a stolen base. His advance changes to a fielders choice.
Thanks. Please give answers according to NCAA rules, if it makes a difference. Thanks again.
I don't think NCAA and OBR differ on these rules.
