what catchers glove do u think is the best ou there right now. i am leaning betwwen either 1 fo the 2 proprefered or the academa praying mantis.

i have the Proprefered, and i love it. They stay stiff for a little while, but once that baby is broken in, it will be one of the best investments that uve ever made.
Akadema, best mitt on the market right now. All the features and better leather than $225 Pro Preferred, and about $100 less.
I have the Praying Mantis. Best. Mitt. Ever. Once you break it in that is... be prepared for a very LONG break in process, but it will be worth it!
right now i just got a Wilson A2000, obviously i know this is the glove Pudge wears but that isnt why i am asking this, what do oyu guys think of this glove?
My son used and loved the Wilson A2000 Pudge, that is, until he got a ProPreffered. He loves that catchers mitt and now the Pudge is his backup. I have't seen anyone using the Akadema, but I've looked at them and they look like an excellent mitt. I don't think you could go wrong with them. The savings will allow you to buy 2 or 3 wood bats.
I like the Nakona models. If you work on them a little bit, they break in very easily, have a big pocket, are durable, and have a very nice pop
Just like a lot of people said, i have used my friends Akadema and it is a VERY nice glove!
i have a pudge a2000 also. i like it alot, especially how big it is. the only problem is that it is heavy, but you get used to the weight. really nice when broken in and not long to break it in.
