Hello, My first post. Was wondering if anyone here had any info on Centre College in Danville Kentucky. Also, curious about University of Indianapolis. Any personal experiences would be appreciated.

The Grand PooBah of he HSBBW, Bob Howdeshell, had an older son what attended Centre and played football. Hopefully he will see your post and respond or you can send him a PM.
I am familiar with the baseball program from a distance as my son attended an SCAC school. However they were in different divisions and did not play.

dbo - I'm about 40 minutes from Centre. First of all, the town of Danville is a beautiful quiet small town. It is about 40 minutes from Lexington,KY where there's plenty for a college student to do. Lexington is the home of the University of KY as well as some smaller universities. There isn't much in Danville as far as entertainment, etc. The school is known to be a very academic school (DIII). The baseball program hasn't had much success, at least in the last few years. My son had a HS teammate who considered going there this fall but decided on another school instead. I think depending on what your priorities are, Centre could be a great place for a kid to attend and play ball. Please PM me if you have any specific questions.

Georgetown College - NAIA, Georgetown KY (I can give you insight into this program if you would like)
Transylvania University - DIII, Lexington,KY (The new coach here was an assistant at UK for many years - great guy!) You might want to check this one out if you're interested strictly in DIII. Similar cost (pricey) and academics to Centre.
