My son has been to several showcases over the last 6 months. He has received emails and phone calls from coaches showing interest. a couple have said they saw him at a showcase and they were very interested in him, but then the coach sends an invitation to a summer camp they are running. My question is, how do you know whether a coach is really interested in a player or if they are just trying to get you to attend their camp to make money off the player. I don't mind spending the money on another camp/showcase if the coach is seriously interested in my son, but, how do you know?
