Midlo Dad: as an outside observer from the Northern Region, I wanted to thank you for your attempt to bring some civility here. I was here trying to get some info on how the other regions were playing out as we get near the end of our NR tournament, and was amazed at what I saw on this thread.

And I thought we had in-fighting in our region! That's nothing compared to what I'm seeing here!

BTW, Midlo Dad: Go Richmond Braves National!

Was any of the stuff that occurred at the game captured on video? Any local news channels or the equivalent of the DCSportsfan or Digital Sports have anything to see on this? Any parents taping little Josh play baseball? If so, can those videos be posted here?

As for this thread, all I can say is wow. I thought I had seen it all. Maybe now, I have.

As for the Northern Region, I probably saw 20 regular season games at various schools and several District games, and the crowds were so small and sedate you did not hear a peep.

I couldn't agree more Midlo Dad. Between the actions at the TED last night and the trash I'm reading now, it makes me regret that my kids were even associated with the Eastern Region. Is this what it has come to? I'm referring to the so called administrators that were supposedly at this game.

I meant to say, actions at the BUD vice TED. Sorry 1943.
Seems like there is more comotion over the trash talking than the actual game. If you can talk more about what happens around the diamond than what occurs in it, then no one is a true baseball fan. I was in attendance at the game, not looking for trash talking, but for a good game, and it was. Both teams showed that they wanted it. But, both teams looked sloppy and in my eyes did not preform up to par with their previous accolades. Not getting bunts done, taking fastballs, missed signs, sloppy defense, is not what you expect to see when you come to a regional game with two of the top teams in the state playing for a bid to the state tournament.
