Comcast Channel 262. How awesome it is to see one of our local boys pitching in a Saturday game against arch rival Oklahoma. David cruised through the 7th and 8th but ran into trouble in the 9th. Sooners end up scoring 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win 8-6.

I was amazed at the amount of college baseball on tv yesterday. Not only were Mizzou and Oklahoma on. But so were FSU and Miami, South Carolina and Mississippi and Florida and Vanderbilt.

Cales' sophomore year at Mt.Carmel...pitching late in a close playoff game vs. Glenwood-Chatham...called for a balk with a runner at third...run scores...very controversial call...much hullabaloo...next batter? Struck him out! That's when I knew he was going to be a good one.
