I have two related questions. In a game where team X is ahead by one run the starting pitcher for team X gives up a double, and the outfielder makes an error letting the ball get behind him to allow the runner to take third. The starting pitcher is pulled and the relief pitcher comes in with the lead but a man on base from the starting pitcher. A passed ball occurs allowing the runner to score. The inning ends with a tie score and continues on.
I know the run does not go against the relief pitcher, but does that run get charged to the starting pitchers ERA?
In the same scenerio, but the score was tied, then the runner scored on the passed ball, would the loss go to the starting pitcher or the relief pitcher if team X does not score any more runs in later innings?
