Error or hit??

Sounds like an error to me.

I as well scored it an E-6. Ive heard other people say.."it took a bad bounce" or "he wasn't able to get the glove on it and it also took a bad bounce"... Just wondering how the rest would see this.

The basic test is always whether "in the scorer's judgment the fielder could have handled the ball with ordinary effort". There are some hops that Nomar couldn't handle; others are within the realm of "should've had it." It's strictly a judgment call.

Depends on if it was gonna be a bang bang play and the short stop was having to charge all out to get to the ball and it died on the bounce. If it died on the bounce on a charging SS then that is not an ordinary effort ball and in this case as ive explained it'd be a hit.
