The good news Epstein has found is that players and teams don’t like this version of the game that analytics has helped produce.

With the caveat that Epstein would be 10 times the commissioner that Manfred is, I find Epstein mind numbingly boring.
I skimmed through the article. Did he get to the point as to how exactly MLB would go about implementing those 5 things that the average Little Leaguer already thought of 2 years ago?

the question is, which team is Theo planning to buy? Pirates, Cubs, Giants?
he can play Bill Veeck.

Thanks for sharing. I don't like the idea of professional baseball change being legislated for any reason except for the health of the players. I prefer a more Darwinian approach as players adapt their skills to what is happening on the field.
Theo's ideas amount to tweeking the game for artificial reasons. Baseball is an organic and perfect sport the way it is.

All I could get out of the story was how many in article ads could pop up while I'm trying to read and that causing continual shift of my eyes - so I gave up /-|
