I have seen both teams and I know many players on Flower Mound, but I have not seen enough of them this year to really make a definitive prediction. I say this series goes three games. Both teams are solid top to bottom which makes pitchers life a lot of work. I'll refrain from commenting on the interesting situations that led to those losses.

Anyone wanting scouting reports? Big Grin

I'll give in, I'm thinking the teams are fairly evenly matched, but I'm thinking Flower Mound has played the better competition throughout district on a more consistent basis. That accompanied by having home field (I think), gives them a slight edge. The Flo-Mo fans can get to you if you aren't careful. I love playing there tho. However, LD Bell is the real deal... really.

However, I do not know how deep either side is on pitching... We faced Moore both times.

I'm not sold on LD Bell....Arlington Martin beat them in a non-district game 14-1 and Martin used a different pitcher every inning...Martin was trying to get all of it's pitchers some work in that game since it was non-district. I did see FM beat Coppell a week or two ago and they looked strong and FM played Martin tough in the playoffs last year. I hope LD Bell can win the series but I think FM will prevail....I know my mom would be happy being a former LD Bell graduate.

I guess DTiger was write LD Bell comes to plays...and hit. Any one there that can tell us if the 3 FM errors made a real difference or was LD Bell just on top of there game tonight?
No the errors were made after bell had scored thier 7 runs in the first three innings. They just came out and hit and pitchers on flower mounds side weren't on their best game. In the first inning two walks and then a homerun by frost? I think is his name. And then they continued to score. It was a good game and bell can hit pretty good but I think 6 walks doesnt help at all either. Good game bell

That does seem to be true, but they've actually calmed down a bit. I've been there when they ran sirens over the intercom whenever their hitters had extra base hits (while the ball was in play.) I wondered how the opposing team heard their cut-off calls and the like with all of the noise.
