I have been hit in the ribs while behind a screen (well not QUITE behind it) -- PantherSon II was hit in the head with a line-drive while pitching and PantherSon III was hit in the ankle on Saturday. Despite exit-ratios and such, the mound is still a dangerous place at times -- especially with the metal bats.

Saw your boy take one off the ankle Saturday. Couldn't tell if it got more shoe or ankle, either way did not look good. He's a great talent, I hope he's okay.

My kid took a line drive to the face a couple of years ago. Shattered his jaw. His pitching was no worse for the wear, but I sure am nervous now. I would have never survived on a liquid diet for six weeks!
P-pitch -- I too thought the ball hit his shoe (based on the sound). He says it hit him on the ankle bone....he is ok...thanks for your positive comments. At least he kicked the ball towards first base. I guess they haven't practiced that play enough.

wasn't that incident with Z right after I got my eyeball rearranged by a screaming line drive into the dugout?..Still got the metal plates to show for that one

Frankenstein!! LMAO... We look pretty good.They just have to go out and get after it. I have been really impressed with Burnside at SS. Kid has a great arm, and pretty quick hands. He pitches well too.Honestly I really dont know many of the guy's so it will be fun to get to know them this Season. Should be fun.. Good luck over there, except for when we play you guy's.. J
