n dallas and woodrow thursday 4:30 at reverchon park. highland park and forney friday 7:30 at jj pearce. i think some of the 10-5a district games friday will determine who is in the playoffs. should be a fun couple of days to get ready for the playoffs.
Well we have to win tonight just to make the playoffs.. SCARY. I think we can handle grapevine if our player play like they started off the year. Did Arlington Heights really lose to Southwest? This has been an exciting and crazy week of baseball!

TAPPS schools begin their playoffs this weekend. Because TAPPS uses a one game playoff system, seniors are facing possibly their last career high school game. Best of luck to all!

Hope we're ready. We're District Champs (shared w/ PCA/FBA) at 12-2, and we have to go on the road for our playoff game...not whining (we had our chance to get higher seed, but lost), just pointing out the oddity and disappointment.

That's the projected matchup, unless something changes between now and then.
I'd appreciate some feedback on what to expect from Thompson this year. He came to our place 2 years ago and beat us. We expect a hard throwing, experienced, top pitching performance from him.

Saw him throw earlier in the year, 6 scouts with guns had him a steady 91-93 with a good hook. Saw him throw again a couple of weeks ago and did not look quit as sharp.

McKinney Christian vs. Amarillo San Jacinto Christian; Saturday in Amarillo.
Not only did MCA win their first ever ballgame this year, they also won enough games to qualify as the 4th seed in district 2 3A. So we will be leaving tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m. and playing at 2:00 p.m. Tried to get them to meet me half way because we have our senior prom tonight. They laughed and said nope, but we'll move the game back to 2:00 for you! Next year we'll make sure we win district so this won't be a problem.

Also rumor has it that Grapevine beat Colleyville Heritage and it looks like Coppell vs Colleyville...a tough first round match if it is true.

Frisco came from behind to beat Lake Dallas 12-7 to get into the playoffs. Congratulations to Coach Cook and crew. Also, congrats to Grapevine's Coach McCune and his group for a great second half to earn third place in the tough 5-5A. And Wylie, led by Coach Toth, also had a great second half. There are lots of other impressive accomplishments, but these three stood out to me tonight.
Congrats FD and the Summit team. Good luck on the toss Saturday and in the playoffs.
