Cheapseats,
Oops, sorry, I mis-read your post. Didn't realize you were asking which of the two would throw.

Brooks threw on Tuesday, so likely McCain.

You didn't miss anything...I changed my post. Big Grin

Wanted to hedge my bet a little. I forgot that Brooks just pitched. Smile

Best of luck, I have not seen Matt Thompson pitch, have just heard about him so I am no help.

McKinney Christian vs. Amarillo San Jacinto Christian; Saturday in Amarillo.

Not only did MCA win their first ever ballgame this year, they also won enough games to qualify as the 4th seed in district 2 3A. So we will be leaving tomorrow morning at 6:00 a.m. and playing at 2:00 p.m. Tried to get them to meet me half way because we have our senior prom tonight. They laughed and said nope, but we'll move the game back to 2:00 for you! Next year we'll make sure we win district so this won't be a problem. Wink
I was n't there but I just got the call Flower Mound Marcus just beat Coppell 4-3.

Not a good way to go into the playoffs for Coppell.

Also rumor has it that Grapevine beat Colleyville Heritage and it looks like Coppell vs Colleyville...a tough first round match if it is true.

I know Newman Smith lost and are 7-7 and with this win Marcus is 7-7 but I don't know what that means for the playoff picture.

Any word on Flower Mound vs. Lewisville?
Jesuit- 9
Irving- 8
F/ 10 innings

HR: Jesuit: Bell
Irving: Harris

WP: Meinhardt
LP: ?

Great played game by both teams, we jumped on them early, but they responded with a 5 run inning and then Trent Harris hit a 2-run homerun to tie up the game and send it to extras. Jesuit ended up winning on a hit by Matty Shortall in the tenth. Congrats to Freshman Josh Bell who went 3-5 with a bomb and a double.

Jesuit gets the 3rd seed in district and will square off with Arlington High next weekend.

Frisco came from behind to beat Lake Dallas 12-7 to get into the playoffs. Congratulations to Coach Cook and crew. Also, congrats to Grapevine's Coach McCune and his group for a great second half to earn third place in the tough 5-5A. And Wylie, led by Coach Toth, also had a great second half. There are lots of other impressive accomplishments, but these three stood out to me tonight.
