Hamptons summer league

My son is going to play summer ball in the Hamptons. Looks like this is a newer league, only a few years old. Has anyone had any experience in this league? I was not sure what to expect, and he will be a long way from home.

My son is playing with the Southampton team. It is a fairly new league, being only 3 years old, but is part of the ACBL, which has been around many years. The 5 Hamptons league teams only play each other (except for the championship game) so travel is somewhat limited, which isn't really a bad thing. I can think of a lot of worse places to spend the summer...
