This is not good. Harold Reynolds is the consummate professional and the closest example of my all-time favorite, Joe Garagiola Sr, in the history of broadcasting!!

He is no nonsense with a vast storehouse of knowledge and insights on every situation in his discussions. He would be a great candidate for a future General Manager of a Major League Baseball Organization! Go get 'em Harold! Peace, Shep

TR.....you never fail to surprise me.....

The law on sexual harassment is pretty clear, and the means to remedy it also.....each case is different, but warnings are usually called for....it is very unusual to terminate an employee based on a complaint....even if proven true. Usually the offending employee is offered counseling, rehab, etc....an effort to correct the behavior. As said....all cases different, but it would seem unlikely that he would be fired for a first offense....and it just doesn't make sense that he would risk his career by repeating bad behavior....I'm thinking the ARod story makes more sense.....
This whole thing makes me very sad, have been a Harold Reynolds fan forever.

I agree that companies do not fire over a complaint. Most companies will fire or ask for a resignation in lieu of a possible law suit if their company is also named in the suit. And we all have to remember, innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunetly, Reynolds has been a great inspiration for our youth and they can relate to him more than any other person on ESPN.

I am hoping it is over something else.

No matter what the circumstances, ESPN's will have to come out with some sort of announcement, due to his popularity.
TR....it becomes sexual harassment, when the accusing party files a complaint, and it is proven true......and if you have friends who make a point of attempting sexual harassment because they know "the ladies love it"....well.....you call them friends, I have a different name for them......

Sleazbags come to mind......

Let me be as clear as I can about what constitutes sexual harassment....when the victim says no, and the agressor continues....and/or when the victim's employment is made a condition of sexual favors.....not very complicated.....
