What the heck is YOUR problem? Everything frozen up there?

I just found TRhit's response humorous, and was acknowledging his humor. I hope that wouldn't offend him or anyone else.

As to my original post in this thread, if that didn't fit into your sense of humor, I'm sorry.

Man....

FYI, I can't recall ever having seen a player hug an opposing player on the field (or off it, for that matter). Different practices in different parts of the world. I have seen our players hug their girlfriends in the parking lot, though.
I just got back from playing ball this summer in Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico. Post game it wasn't odd at all for a few players to give the little handshake/hug. In Venezuela and Puerto Rico many players did a handshake with a few steps to it that I had never seen until I got down there. For us, though, the kisses on the cheeks came from the Venezuelan girls...They're very forward down there.
Our son's teams have hugged for years. As far as opponents ... even at this level, he meets many players with whom and against whom he has competed in years past. When he meets one as an opponent these days, and there was a mutual respect in the past, they will hug after a game. I love to see it because it shows that there are some things more important that winning.
