I thought that was PT Barnum.  That was a test to see if we believed you...almost got us.   Very clever adbono.

Yes, you are correct sir!  And obviously more clever than me!! 

While the phrase has been attributed to PT Barnum there isn’t any verify proof he actually said it. The phrase and similar phrases have been attributed to various con men long before Barnum.
