Well sais RJM. Have to agree 100%.Ballplayers play because they love to play. That's why kids used to play pick up games with 4 or 5 on a side.

Or play wiffle ball out in the yard.
My college pitcher son's girlfriend is from Peru. We brought up wiffle ball the other day and she asked what wiffle ball is. My son responded it was the best game ever!! Haha. You're right oldmanmoses. The ballplayers play because they love to play. Whether it's HS, travel, pickup games or wiffle ball. Doesn't matter how good the team is or who is on their team. I've seen my son play pick up games with people who are terrible just to be out there playing. To him, it's just fun. It's part of him. As I said earlier in the post, he would not even have considered not playing HS ball.
